We love April, the nights are longer, the sun is more shiney and drinking wine outside is totally acceptable! The Spring feeling was in the air for our April meeting and we had a fantastic turn out, It was so wonderful to see so many of you. For our meeting we were joined by Laura and Sian from Painting Pots Knaresborough .
Laura gave us a history of how she came to be the proud owner of Painting Pots and of her very, very busy life. She is a self-confessed ‘yes’ woman, avid fundraiser, keen supporter of local businesses, award winner, organiser of the The Great Knaresborough Bunny Hunt, phenomenal Mother and an all-round pillar of the community. We are in awe!
After hearing Laura’s interesting story we got straight down to business – painting pots! Laura and Sian explained the different techniques and paint we could use before we selected our pot to paint. Silence fell amongst our Sweethearts as we got creative… silence until the banging playlist started. We painted, we chatted, we ate, we drank and we had an all-round amazing evening.
