For our November meeting we welcomed our neighbours, the lovely people from the St Georges Dance club. We often hear a little music drifting in from next door during our meetings or meet a dancer in the kitchen, so we invited them to come and show us what they get up to next door! Our very friendly tutors demonstrated a tango as we watched, then it was our turn. We paired up and had a go and, despite a few bruised feet, we picked it up quickly and were soon twirling around the room. Buoyed up with confidence, we tackled the Foxtrot. Great. We were all having so much fun we needed to stop for a well- earned tea and cake break. Having got our breath back we tackled the Waltz which turned out to be the hardest of all! Finally our wonderful dancers gave us a demonstration of their skills and we were all inspired their elegance and skill. We will never watch Strictly the same way again!
