Spa Sweethearts WI November Blog – Wine tasting

Wine tasting was the theme of our November meeting, presented by Paul from Ake & Humphris. He brought along a selection of 5 wines, 2 red, 2 white and a fizzy for consideration, accompanied by cheese & crackers to compliment. It was very apparent from the number of members attending that drinking wine is popular. Altogether it made for an evening of great social vibes and a buzzing atmosphere. Hopefully some of the tasters managed to select at least one wine that inspired them enough to consider enjoying it over the Christmas celebrations. However wine is not everyone’s cup of tea so we also provided a choice of soft drinks, tea or coffee and homemade cake courtesy of Shirley. Our next month’s meeting is making wooden Christmas decorations using the art of pyrography to adorn your tree. Everyone is very welcome to come along to make their own unique or personalised for a family member or friend, special Christmas tree memory.
